Instrumental Music
Beechworth Secondary College has an active Instrumental Music Program. Two streams are offered to students:
- individual tuition, and
- group playing, creating and performing
The program is based around rock and roll and a number of school bands exist and perform at various functions.
As well as our own instrumental music teacher, we also have private teachers who offer tuition on drums and piano.
The focus of the program is to encourage students to write and perform their own work as well as to develop their knowledge of theory and musicianship.
