The sailing course promotes trust, mastery of skills, fitness, confidence, tenacity, leadership, initiative and compassion.
By facing the challenges the course will offer students, they will emerge physically and mentally stronger, with an increased mastery of skills as well as a better understanding of their own capabilities and how to make a difference in the world.

This is a week long camp occurring in the first week of term 2. Students will travel to Geelong to participate in the sailing school which operates out of Eastern Beach. They will learn to rig, crew and ultimately sail boats while developing their understanding of the weather and the salt water environment.
Students will stay at a nearby caravan park and be self sufficient with meals, cooking in small cabin groups. There are shops nearby where supplies can be purchased for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There will be a BBQ and a Fish & Chips dinner night.
Further discussion regarding gear and clothing requirements will be had closer to the event.
